In these pages we collect the ideas and ponderings of a variety of people, including, of course, our own staff. We are constantly reading, researching, surfing and talking to others. We often come across brilliance, wisdom and humor in our journey. When we find those nuggets (and boulders!) of thinking that celebrate the philosophy of living BIG, we like to share it with you. The Dangerous Thinking Orbit

Don't be expecting any conventional thinking in these pages! No, this section is designed to challenge your thinking in the most direct and straightforward way possible. No soft selling of ideas, no worrying about what others might think - this is orbital stuff!

"Dangerous Thinking" is defined as thinking, which if it proved to be true, would rattle the very core of established convention. The inspiration for this section came from a website that I visit called www.theedge.org. (I STRONGLY recommend it for those interested in using your brains for more than just a memory chip.) Examples of preeminent "dangerous thinkers" are Copernicus (first suggested that the earth travels around the sun) and Darwin (Origin of The species). Their ideas literally stunned the intellectual, religious and political "think tanks" of their time.
